Recent Pix.

I have been pretty bad at updating recently, so I am just throwing a bunch of random photos up for the last little while. Rick Hansen speaks to kids at McRoberts secondary about overcoming obstacles in life.
Illustrative shot on restorative justice, where the offender meets up with the victim and they discuss the implications of what happened.
Cranberry farming in East Richmond. Cranberries are B.C.'s largest berry crop, with fields yielding more than 34 million kilograms annually, contributing to 12 per cent of the total North American volume.
A float plane decends for landing over the No. 2 Road bridge on the Middle Arm of the Fraser River as the sun sets over Richmond Thursday evening.
Major-General Tim Grant, former commander of Canadian Forces in Afghanistan, speaks to the Canadian Club in Richmond Wednesday.
A group of Herons fish for dinner at sunset off of Brunswick point Thursday.
A worker installs large wooden stakes into a farm at the corner of 53 St. and 28 Ave. Wednesday afternoon. It is one of many farm fields around Delta making the transition to blueberry crops, this one installing large wooden stakes for wind protection for the crop.
McMath Grade 10 girls Volleyball player Stacey Bridal watches her spike sail over the net during the team's game versus McRoberts Tuesday afternoon.

A bunch of shots for a story on Richmond boxer Junior Moar, who was imprisoned for 4 years, 27 months of which in solitary confinement, and is now trying to capitalize on life with a second shot at boxing. A video I produced for the story is at the Richmond News Site.

Nice shots. Love the graf shot, and nice variety of subject matter. Also great use of flash in your shots. Did you trigger the light on Rick Hansen?

I don't know about you, but I hate shooting volleyball. Nice capture though :)
