Another shot of Junior.

This was one of the shots on my first roll that went through the Hasselblad I just bought. I' m looking forward to shooting some more with it. It's a bit of an adjustment, but I'm looking forward to getting some more film back soon. Using the square format, and holding it differently, there is a lot to get used to, but it's exciting to switch things up.

Illustrative shot on restorative justice, where the offender meets up with the victim and they discuss the implications of what happened.

A group of Herons fish for dinner at sunset off of Brunswick point Thursday.
A worker installs large wooden stakes into a farm at the corner of 53 St. and 28 Ave. Wednesday afternoon. It is one of many farm fields around Delta making the transition to blueberry crops, this one installing large wooden stakes for wind protection for the crop.

A bunch of shots for a story on Richmond boxer Junior Moar, who was imprisoned for 4 years, 27 months of which in solitary confinement, and is now trying to capitalize on life with a second shot at boxing. A video I produced for the story is at the Richmond News Site.

Some Recent Richmond Pics

Recent photos from Richmond, including a plane that crashed into an apartment building, what seemed like a million snow geese, a young guy picking oats in the Terra Nova Sharing Farm and a cyclist taking a break under brooding skies. Off to work on a recent video production with new HD video camera, which I will try to share in the coming posts.
