Front Page

Well I finally scored my first front page at the Herald. I've been hunting for a front page for a while, and never thought this assignment would turn into it, but was happy it did. Aside from that, it's interesting to see how front page photos are generally judged by newsworthiness, not by the quality of the picture. The two photos below I think are a bit more dynamic, even though the sports feature went further back into the sports section and the portrait never ran.
