STAMPS ACTION

Well, I scored another weekend off, so Saturday I was off to the Stamps game to shoot it along with Herald Photogs Ted Jacob and Grant Black. Man, it was a great game. The crowd was split about 50/50 between Roughrider and Stampeder fans, and the two teams were out to play. The past few games I have shot have been fairly dull, but this one was action packed with great shots to be had on almost every play. Along with that, I have never encountered a streaker while shooting any sports event, so we had a bit of a laugh and I managed to snap a few without his bits in the frame, thank god. On my Sunday day off I went for an amazing hike in Waterton National Park, I will post some photos tomorrow of my favourite place in Alberta.Calgary, AB-20060805-.Calgary Stampeder's Wide Reciever Ken-Yon Rambo (85) loses the ball and his helmet for a fumble as he is tackled by Saskatchewan RoughRiders Almondo Curry (26) in Saturday night's 23-7 victory over the Saskatchewan Roughriders at McMahon Stadium.
