Time's Winding Down
Well as August 31st steadily approaches, my summer at the Herald seems to be coming to an end. I am sure I will miss it when I am gone, but am looking to what lies ahead.

Calgary, AB-20060819-.Calgary Fire Department divers along with help from the STARS helicopter rescued a group of kayakers that were stranded along the Elbow River just south of the community of Discovery Ridge in S.W. Calgary late Saturday night. Aside from being a little cold and tired, the kayakers appeared to be in good condition after their ordeal but were checked over by EMS for precautionary measures.
