ZAP

This was a lot of fun to take. It was one of those feature shots you really enjoy working at and was fairly exciting to get. Both Tom and myself were having such a great time just watching the storm, and my umbrella would have a big hum and hiss with electricity with every strike. It was a good way to cap off a day of work, even if I did end up getting fairly soaked. Calgary, AB-20060809-.Tom Heller, 30, went up to Scotsman's Hill to watch the lightning Wednesday night after the power went out in his Mission home. "Supercell" storms pounded much of southern Alberta, knocking out power to homes and dumping golf-ball sized hail in certain parts of the city. Photo by Brett Beadle/Calgary Herald

Many tenants believe they are being pushed out early because on Nov. 1, the rent of a one-bedroom apartment is skyrocekting from $595 to $2,000 a month. Photo by Brett Beadle/Calgary Herald
